We have recordings made using Vidicode. How can we use proprietary transcription software to play them back with foot pedals to facilitate transcription?

Answer by Stephen Prastman

To be able to facilitate transcription, the software should support exporting to a known audio file format. This way you can use any available transcribing application to load the file. For example, it will be good if the software supports exporting to WAV or MP3 and then use a tool like Express Scribe to get the audio to text using foot pedals.
Check the documentation and the features available within software and then take the next step. If you don't have the possibility to export, contact the developer and ask for directions.
